Passionate About Sustainability
At Spier’s Salads, we are guided by values of sustainability, fairness, quality, and joy — central to our ethos. We’re committed to reducing environmental impact across the business — from supply chain & kitchen practices, to supporting our team and clients.
We’re committed to cutting packaging waste by choosing biodegradable, eco-friendly solutions. We use Vegware made from renewable plant materials, FooGo Green palm-leaf products, and actively reduce single-use plastics. Our approach lowers emissions and champions sustainable alternatives, ensuring every aspect of our packaging reflects our environmental values.
Planet-Positive Packaging
Sustainable Sourcing, Local Goodness
We focus on seasonal, locally sourced produce to support British farmers and reduce emissions from long-distance transport. Our menus celebrate fresh ingredients, and we work closely with regional suppliers who prioritise sustainable farming. By making sauces, chutneys, and fillings in-house, we cut down on processed foods — ensuring quality, ethically prepared meals that reflect our commitment to sustainability.
Spier’s Salads is dedicated to halving food waste by 2030 in line with UK Circular Economy targets. We reduce excess through careful ingredient planning, transform scraps into flavourful seasoning salts, and vacuum-pack surplus for future use. Any leftovers are shared with our team or offered to clients. This helps us maintain exceptional food standards while dramatically reducing waste across our operations.
